Dogtra are well known for their e-collars and the 1900NCP Field Star is their most popular model. It is designed with a full range of dogs in mind. It works efficiently with either sport dogs, K-9 officer police dogs or just your own pet. Whatever the level of aggression your dog has, this a collar you should consider carefully.

The reason the Field Star is so popular is that it offers correction by using either nick, constant or non-stimulating vibration modes. The nick mode gives a momentary burst of stimulation. The constant allows you to give a maximum of eight seconds of electrical stimulation as long as you are holding down the button. The page is for causing the collar to vibrate.

This collar system is fully waterproof making it an excellent choice for training and hunting in all kinds of harsh weather conditions. It works at up to a 1/2 mile range. It also comes with a handy LCD screen that illuminates so that you can see the settings. As standard the device comes with rechargeable Ni-MH batteries and a charger, so you will save a lot of money in not having to purchase batteries.

Features:

Precise stimulation level (0-27); 1/2-mile range
Nick, constant, and non-stimulating vibration modes
Rechargeable Ni-MH batteries
Fully waterproof collar/receiver and transmitter

Pros:

It’s less stressful and more effective than yelling or stamping your feet.
It’s very easy to use.
It doesn’t harm your dog at all.
Although expensive, you feel like you are getting your money’s worth.

Cons:
